StoreKeeper - Rebar

Summary:

The Storekeeper - Rebar is responsible for managing and organizing the inventory of rebar materials in a construction warehouse or storage facility. They oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of rebar to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.

Job Responsibility

• Tracks material availability and stock levels
• Coordinates dispatch with yard and transport teams
•  Ensures timely and accurate deliveries
• Handles administrative tasks and reporting
• Ensures proper record-keeping, DN, GRN, Advice Note
• Maintains all project and production documents
• Controls drawing revisions and distribution
• Ensures proper filing and document tracking
• Supports audits and reporting requirements
• Prepare IPR/LPO
• Maintain delivery notes, dispatch records, and receiving reports
• Facilitate permits approvals if needed
• Ensures proper stacking and handling
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor to support project and operational requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a construction or warehouse setting
- Familiarity with rebar materials and their handling requirements is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy rebar materials on a regular basis

Must have at least a college-level education, with prior knowledge or experience in steelyard operations considered an advantage.  Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and familiar with rebar software.
