Steelfixer Foreman

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Steelfixer Foreman to oversee the steel fixing operations at construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of steelfixers, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring that steel structures are installed correctly and according to specifications.

Job Responsibility:
1. Coordinate with project managers to establish steel fixing requirements.
2. Read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings to plan steel fixing activities.
3. Lead and supervise a team of steelfixers on a daily basis.
4. Ensure that all steel structures are installed correctly and securely.
5. Inspect finished steel work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
6. Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate steel fixing activities.
7. Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a steelfixer or in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawings.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry.
6. Physical strength and stamina for lifting and bending.

Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
2. Proficiency in setting up and installing steel reinforcing bars and mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee a team of steelfixers and coordinate tasks effectively.
4. In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
5. Ability to use relevant tools and equipment for cutting, bending, and securing steel bars.
6. Excellent communication skills to liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Problem-solving skills to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process.
8. Time management skills to meet project deadlines and ensure work is completed efficiently.
