Senior Structural Engineer / Coordinator

Summary:
As a Senior Structural Engineer/Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating structural engineering projects within the organization. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Job Responsibility:
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other team members to develop structural design solutions that meet project requirements
- Review project specifications, drawings, and calculations to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters to support project execution
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and identify issues that may affect project design
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve engineering issues

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with a focus on building design and construction
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD Pro
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead project coordination efforts
