SENIOR PROCUREMENT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Engineer specializing in Mechanical engineering to oversee the procurement process for mechanical components and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop procurement strategies for mechanical components and equipment based on project requirements.
2. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for mechanical materials and equipment.
3. Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
4. Monitor and track the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
5. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
6. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mechanical procurement.

Candidate Requirements:
1. UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement, specifically in mechanical components and equipment.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and specifications.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
