Senior/Lead Estimator - Marine Experience

Summary:
The Senior/Lead Estimator with Marine Experience will be responsible for developing unit rate build-ups for labor, plant, and materials, allocation of indirect costs and preliminaries, preparing and reviewing commercial comparison sheets, highlighting exclusions and qualifications in vendor quotes, updating the BOQ estimate based on revised drawings, preparing comparative cost analysis for options, and preparing tender stage cash flow.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop unit rate build-ups for labor, plant, and materials based on established productivity norms.
- Allocate indirect costs and preliminaries to the relevant section of the tender.
- Prepare and review commercial comparison sheets in coordination with the Procurement team to evaluate subcontractor and vendor offers.
- Highlight exclusions and qualifications in vendor quotes that could lead to financial risk.
- Update the BOQ estimate based on revised drawings or addenda issued during the tender period.
- Prepare comparative cost analysis for options.
- Prepare tender stage cash flow.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Estimator in marine construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction costs and pricing strategies.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
