Senior Engineer - Utilities

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Utilities to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects related to utilities (water, sewer, electricity) and roads. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop project plans and timelines for utilities projects.
2. Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
4. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality control measures.
5. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
6. Identify and address any technical issues or challenges that may arise during project implementation.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in utilities and roads infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to utilities projects.

In-depth knowledge of utility systems and road construction principles
- Experience in designing, planning, and implementing utility and road projects
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
- Strong project management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges
- Effective communication skills to present ideas and updates to team members and clients
