Senior Engineer Facade Design

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer specialized in Facade Design to lead and manage projects related to the design and implementation of building facades. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of facade design, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibility:
1. Lead the design and development of building facades, including creating detailed drawings and specifications.
2. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of facade design with the overall building structure.
3. Conduct structural analysis and performance simulations to validate the design integrity and functionality of the facade.
4. Manage and supervise a team of engineers and designers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of facade design projects.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in facade design and construction.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in facade design and engineering, with a focus on high-rise buildings and complex structures.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to facade design and construction.
4. Proficiency in CAD software, structural analysis tools, and other relevant software applications.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
6. Professional certifications or memberships in relevant associations are desirable.

Skills:
1. Knowledge of facade design principles and best practices
2. Proficiency in using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
3. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to facades
4. Experience in designing curtain walls, glazing systems, and other facade components
5. Ability to conduct structural analysis and calculations for facade elements
6. Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills for client meetings and stakeholder discussions
8. Problem-solving skills to address technical challenges in facade design
9. Attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance in all design work
10. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials for energy-efficient facades.
