Quantity Surveyor (Piling)

Summary:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (Piling) with experience in Solid Candy software and a strong background in estimation. The ideal candidate should have a maximum of 8 years of experience and be willing to work in Abudhabi based on available projects. The role involves undertaking remeasurement, preparing, submitting, and agreeing on monthly valuations, variations, and final accounts, as well as administering payments, insurances, and bonds for subcontractors.

Job Responsibility:
- Undertake remeasurement and prepare, submit, and agree on monthly valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure awareness of site activities and administer payments, insurances, and bonds for subcontractors.
- Formal sign off of final accounts using the approved format.
- Submit monthly payment applications timely at the end of each month.
- Expedite the issue of payment certificates, monitor payments, and chase cash.
- Administer cost impact calculation and prepare narratives.

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience with Solid Candy software.
- Strong background in estimation.
- Maximum of 8 years of experience.
- Willingness to work in Abudhabi based on available projects.
- Ability to undertake remeasurement accurately and efficiently.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.

Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and techniques
- Experience in piling projects and understanding of relevant industry standards
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and programs for quantity surveying
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
