Planning Engineer - MEP

Summary:
BK Gulf LLC is looking to recruit MEP Planning Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, scheduling and monitoring at our MEP projects across UAE.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop detailed project schedules and plans to meet deadlines and project milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and determine resources needed.
- Monitor project progress and track actual vs. planned timelines.
- Identify and address any issues or delays in the project schedule.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and project specifications.

Candidate Requirements:
- UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the MEP industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

1. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
2. Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
3. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
5. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various project stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in project planning.
8. Project management skills including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
10. In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and their integration in construction projects.
