Planning Engineer - MEP

Summary:
BK Gulf LLC is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer - MEP to oversee the planning and scheduling of our MEP & Data Center projects. 

Job Responsibility:
- Develop project schedules for MEP construction activities based on project requirements and resource availability
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate MEP activities into the overall project schedule
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues that may impact the schedule
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to optimize scheduling processes and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that all MEP activities align with project milestones and goals
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in MEP planning and scheduling

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience as an MEP Planning Engineer or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and project management principles
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Strong understanding of MEP systems
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to MEP systems
- Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
