MEP DESIGN COORDINATOR (BIM)

Job Summary:
The MEP Design Coordinator (BIM) is responsible for overseeing the coordination and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) designs using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

Job Responsibility:
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP designs are integrated effectively within the overall building design.
- Utilize BIM software to create, review, and modify MEP models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify clashes and conflicts in MEP designs and work with the project team to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules and budgets for MEP design activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in MEP design coordination and BIM technology.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working with BIM software in MEP design coordination.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and their integration within building designs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Skills:
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination
- Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations in the construction industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with project teams and clients
- Problem-solving skills to resolve any design or coordination issues
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and updating design documents
- Project management skills to ensure the timely completion of tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies
