Job Description
- Managers overall materials for the projects.
- Identify the technical characterizes of each material to advise the appropriate materials for the right usage.
- Ensure all departments are aware of the approved materials and have the track of the same.
- Manage and prepare the required submittals for clients approval.
- Handover approved materials to the project team.
- Coordination with client, consultant and contractors will be managed.
- Attend meeting with client, consultant and suppliers.
Skills Description
- UAE/MOFA Attested Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of working experience as a Material Engineer preferably from main contractors or from an Interiors and Fit-Out company.
- Expertise in material testing methods and equipment.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating material performance data.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations governing material usage.
- UAE Driver's license is an advantage.
