Material Controller

Summary:
BK Gulf LLC is looking recruit an experienced Material Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage and control of materials at our MEP projects. 

Job Responsibility:
1. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
3. Identify and resolve any discrepancies in materials received or used.
4. Develop and implement processes to improve material handling and storage.
5. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast material needs.
6. Utilize software systems to track and manage inventory and generate reports.
7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
8. Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on material availability and status.
9. Train and supervise material handling staff if applicable.

Candidate Requirements:
1. UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
2. Proven experience in material control, inventory management, or a related field.
3. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
5. Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools.
6. Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
