HSE Officer – Piling Works

Summary:
The HSE Officer for Piling Works will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on piling work sites.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for piling works
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Provide HSE training to employees and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure HSE requirements are met on all piling projects

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred; any degree is acceptable
- At least 8 years of overall work experience, with a minimum of 4-5 years specifically in piling works in the UAE
- NEBOSH certification is required and must be attested
- Lead Auditor certification is preferred

In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to construction and piling works
2. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures
3. Strong communication skills to effectively convey health and safety regulations to workers and management
4. Ability to conduct accident investigations and implement corrective measures to prevent future accidents
5. Expertise in developing and delivering health and safety training programs
6. Familiarity with emergency response procedures and protocols
7. Attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards in piling worksites
8. Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate health and safety records
9. Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment used in piling works and their associated safety procedures
10. Certification in occupational health and safety management or a related field
