Summary:
The HSE Engineer - Marine will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices in marine works. They will ensure compliance with regulations and company standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures specific to marine works.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
5. Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Maintain records and reports related to HSE performance.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Degree in Engineering is preferred, with a minimum of 8 years of overall experience.
2. At least 4-5 years of experience in UAE, specifically in marine works.
3. NEBOSH certification is required and must be attested.
4. Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in the marine industry.
