Job Description

Summary:
We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer to join our team and oversee the safety, health, and environmental aspects of our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and a proven track record in HSE management, particularly in the UAE.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures for infrastructure projects
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for preventive measures
- Lead HSE training sessions for employees and contractors
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities on HSE matters related to the projects

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
- At least 10 years of overall work experience, with a minimum of 4-5 years in the UAE
- NEBOSH certification (attested)
- Lead Auditor certification
- Previous experience with SARs is preferred and considered an advantage

Skills Description

In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines
2. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
3. Strong understanding of implementing safety protocols and procedures on construction sites
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and employees
5. Ability to conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
6. Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis
7. Emergency response planning and execution skills
8. Familiarity with environmental management systems and sustainability practices
9. Ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs
10. Proficient in using relevant software and tools for HSE management
