Dutco Construction L.L.C is part of the Dutco Group of Construction companies which started operations in the United Arab Emirates in the 1970s and today considered one of the leading heavy civil and marine contractors in the UAE.

We employ more than 10,000 people, making us one of the largest construction companies in the region with an extensive track record in large-scale projects including power stations, reservoirs, hotels, airport infrastructure and port development. Many of the country’s highways, tunnels and bridges have been engineered and built by us, allowing the use of our in-house asphalt, concrete, plant and machinery.

For almost 50 years we have built a strong and loyal client base across both the public and private sectors whilst working on the UAE’s iconic projects including Expo 2020, The Address Hotel renovation, Bluewaters, Marsa Al Seef, CityWalk and the expansion of the Fashion Avenue in the Dubai Mall.

We are hiring  General Foreman in our Abu Dhabi projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities, ensuring work progresses according to the project schedule.

Interpret and implement construction drawings, method statements, and specifications on site.

Allocate tasks to site teams, monitor productivity, and ensure optimum manpower utilization.

Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work meets technical, quality, and safety standards.

Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential issues and coordinate with engineers for resolution.

Ensure all construction activities comply with approved safety procedures and HSE regulations.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure workers follow safe work practices.

Coordinate with the Site Engineer/Construction Manager for material requirements and timely availability of resources.

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil/Construction or related field.

Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in site supervision within the construction industry (high-rise, residential, commercial, or infrastructure).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, site execution, and manpower management.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical documents.

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage labor and subcontractors.

Strong understanding of safety standards and ability to enforce safe working practices.

Capable of working under pressure and handling multiple daily site activities effectively.

UAE/GCC experience preferred, with familiarity with local authority regulations and site requirements.
