Foreman – Structure (Carpentry)

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Foreman specializing in Structure (Carpentry) to oversee and manage the carpentry work on construction projects. The Foreman will be responsible for leading a team of carpenters, ensuring quality workmanship, and completing projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibility:
1. Coordinate and supervise the work of carpenters on-site.
2. Interpret plans and blueprints to determine project requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
4. Procure materials and tools needed for carpentry work.
5. Train and mentor carpenters to improve their skills and efficiency.
6. Inspect finished work to ensure high quality and accuracy.
7. Communicate progress and any issues to project managers.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a carpenter with leadership skills.
2. In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
4. Strong communication and leadership skills.
5. Attention to detail and quality-focused.
6. Physical stamina to work on-site and lift heavy materials.
7. Certification or training in carpentry is a plus.
