Engineer Mechanical - Senior

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP contracting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and on schedule.

Job Responsibility:
1. Lead mechanical engineering projects in MEP contracting, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection.
2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Develop and review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications.
4. Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
6. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to mechanical engineering in MEP contracting.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP contracting, with a focus on mechanical engineering.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
4. Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
7. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to mechanical systems.
