Designation/Post:      Corporate Communications Specialist
 
Division:  Corporate Affairs
 
Reports To:  Manager - Corporate Affairs
 
Function/Role: 
To support the delivery of Corporate Affairs and Communications across DBB, working across internal and external channels to ensure consistent, clear, and controlled messaging across the business.
This role is hands-on and requires coordination across multiple communication channels, including intranet (SharePoint), website, social media, leadership communications, and project-based messaging.
 
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Support delivery of internal communications across the business, including announcements, campaigns, events, and employee engagement
Manage and update SharePoint / intranet content
Assist with updates to the corporate website and digital platforms
Support development and coordination of leadership communications, ensuring alignment and approvals
Assist with social media content creation and publishing
Coordinate project and operational communications with site teams
Support preparation of business-critical and crisis communications, where required
Ensure all communications are aligned with Corporate Affairs structure, governance, and approvals processes
Maintain visibility and coordination across all communications and activities
Demonstrate proactive follow-up, ownership, and responsiveness across deliverables
 
Specific Requirements/Conditions: (long hours, nights, shifts, travel/mobility)
Occasional extended working hours depending on business requirements and events
Ability to visit project sites when required
Flexible approach to deadlines and priorities
 
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
 
Experience Required:
4–7 years’ experience in corporate communications
Experience across internal communications, digital (intranet/website), and social media
Experience supporting leadership communications preferred
Construction or infrastructure experience is an advantage
Experience working within a structured corporate environment, with clear reporting lines and stakeholder alignment
