Commercial manager-MEP

 

 

 

Summary:
We are looking for a Commercial Manager with experience in MEP contracting to oversee all commercial aspects of the projects and ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Manage claims and variations to contracts to minimize risks and disputes.
- Provide commercial advice and support to project teams and senior management.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to identify areas for cost-saving and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all commercial, contractual, and legal requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the MEP contracting industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial management principles and practices.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems.

 

 

 

Excellent understanding of the MEP industry, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

4. In-depth knowledge of commercial and contractual agreements within the construction industry.

6. Leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams of engineers, technicians, and other staff.
7. Problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during projects.
8. Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the MEP industry for project management and documentation.
