BIM Modeller-MEP

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeller-MEP with experience in Construction MEP Contracting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models and drawings for MEP systems in construction projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient modeling.
3. Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve conflicts in the design.
4. Generate accurate quantity take-offs and assist in project cost estimation.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
6. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to BIM modeling for MEP systems.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
2. Proven experience working as a BIM Modeller-MEP in the construction MEP contracting industry.
3. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, etc.
4. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
7. Relevant certifications in BIM or MEP modeling will be a plus.

Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software such as Revit MEP
- Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and construction processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in modeling MEP systems
- Solid understanding of construction codes and standards related to MEP systems
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with design teams and other stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in the modeling process
- Familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes in MEP projects
