Architectural Coordinator

The Architectural Coordinator – Marine, Road, and Infrastructure will coordinate architectural design activities across marine facilities, road networks, and infrastructure projects. The role supports multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction, ensuring design information is coordinated, compliant with project requirements, and delivered on schedule.

Job Responsibility:
- Coordinate architectural design activities with civil, structural, marine, transportation, utilities, and MEP teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, design calculations, and technical submissions for coordination and consistency.
- Support the integration of architectural requirements into marine and port facilities, roads, public spaces, and related infrastructure.
- Track design deliverables, comments, approvals, and revisions in line with project schedules.
- Identify design interfaces, discrepancies, and potential clashes, and coordinate their resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with preparing design briefs, reports, technical documentation, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to clarify project requirements and obtain necessary reviews and approvals.
- Support site visits and construction-stage coordination, including responses to technical queries and review of proposed changes.
- Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, accessibility requirements, safety provisions, and project specifications.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, correspondence, decisions, and design changes.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Experience coordinating architectural design on marine, road, infrastructure, or other large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
- Understanding of design coordination processes, construction documentation, and project delivery stages.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, accessibility requirements, and infrastructure design standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage several deliverables at once.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and project requirements.
- Professional registration or relevant project-management/BIM training is an advantage.
